Jersey Tops and Tank tops

What are the benefits of a viscose jersey top?

A viscose top from K&US is made from either modal or bamboo viscose. Bamboo viscose is produced from bamboo grass fibers, while modal is made from beech wood fibers. Viscose is known for its lovely drape and soft, pleasant feel, while also allowing the skin to breathe. K&US jersey tops are crafted from a soft viscose knit blended with a touch of elastane, resulting in a top with comfortable stretch.

When buying a jersey top from K&US, it is good to know that viscose is excellent when it comes to washing. Dirt easily washes away from the smooth fibers, ensuring the garment gets clean even at low temperatures; washing your top at 30°C is perfectly sufficient. Viscose also retains color well and changes very little, even after repeated washes. This means you can enjoy your jersey top for a long time to come!

What are the benefits of a linen jersey top?

Linen is a textile made from fibers derived from the flax plant, which are processed into yarn and then woven or knitted. By nature, linen is an eco-friendly and durable material; it is primarily grown in cool, rainy regions, meaning the plant rarely requires artificial irrigation, fertilizers, or pesticides. The linen we use is mainly grown in Eastern Europe, and the tops are manufactured in Portugal.

Linen jersey tops are ideal for spring and summer; as temperatures rise, we want to wear something cool and comfortable. Linen is particularly well-suited for clothing because it absorbs moisture and allows the skin to breathe—qualities that are especially welcome when wearing a linen jersey top on a hot summer day. This characteristic also gives linen antibacterial properties, as it simply does not provide a favorable environment for bacteria to grow and thrive. Even if you sweat on a hot day, you won't develop the same body odor you might with a garment made from synthetic materials.

How do I care for my jersey top?

Machine wash your top at 30°C with other garments of similar colors, but make sure not to wash it alongside rough items—such as those with zippers—that could damage the top's delicate surface. It is a good idea to turn the top inside out if you want to be on the safe side.
