Frequently asked questions and answers:
What materials do you usually combine with your linen clothing for women?
At K&US linen clothing for women, we often combine linen garments with other natural materials such as wool, viscose, hemp and silk. The different materials give the garments different properties so that they complement each other. A wardrobe with K&US garments is therefore suitable for use all year round, regardless of season or temperature.
What distinguishes linen clothing from K&US Stockholm in terms of sustainability?
Linen clothing from K&US Stockholm is characterized by the use of linen, a natural material that is more sustainable than, for example, synthetic materials such as polyester and acrylic, which are oil-based. Linen grows in cool latitudes, which means that less irrigation is required, especially in contrast to cotton, which needs a lot of water but also more pesticides. The flax plant is naturally resistant to pests and the like. K&US linen garments are also sustainable from a design perspective as these garments combine classic design with unique details to maintain style over time.
What characterizes K&US's design of bohemian women's clothing?
The women's clothing at K&US that goes in the bohemian direction is characterized by unique cuts, natural colors and the use of sustainable materials such as linen and wool. The garments often have a relaxed fit and a timeless style that gives a personal look when you combine with the clothes you already have.
What natural materials are often used at K&US women's clothing in Södermalm?
The natural materials we at K&US most often work with are linen, wool, silk and viscose. Sometimes also organic cotton and hemp. These materials are comfortable to wear and contribute to a more environmentally friendly wardrobe with garments that let your body breathe. All in unique Swedish design.
How do you best care for your linen dress for long-lasting durability?
Linen is a self-cleaning material, which means you don't need to wash a linen garment as often as other materials. Feel free to hang your linen dress out to air out to clean the fibers and you can postpone the wash a little longer. When the time comes, you can wash your linen dresses (and other linen garments) at a low temperature with a mild detergent to preserve the linen's natural properties and color. Avoid using a dryer as it is more damaging to both the garment and the environment. Instead, hang the garment up immediately after washing and iron it when it is slightly damp.
What makes linen blazers for women a good summer choice?
During the summer, a linen blazer for women is the perfect choice thanks to linen's breathability and cooling properties. A linen garment is light, airy and helps the body stay cool even on hot days. A linen blazer for women is also just as suitable for everyday life as for a summer party!
How do I choose the right size for women's linen trousers from you?
To find the right size for your women's linen trousers (and for our other linen garments), it is a good idea to compare your body measurements with the size guide on kandus.se. The measurements for size 38/M are given for each garment and are adjusted based on your measurements according to the size chart. For women's linen trousers, you need to measure your waist, seat and inner leg length. For other garments, bust measurements and sleeve length may also be added.
What models of women's linen cardigans are available?
At K&US, we always try to have a wide selection of different linen cardigans for women in our range. You can usually choose between short and long linen cardigans, wide and figure-hugging cardigans, V-neck and round neck as well as wrap cardigans and tie cardigans. In addition to linen cardigans in various lovely colors, we often have a few hemp cardigans and the occasional silk cardigan. Wool cardigans are also available in a wide variety.
What materials are used in wool cardigans and what makes them different?
K&US wool cardigans are made from sheep's wool, merino wool, cashmere or yak wool, among other things. Sheep's wool is durable and warm, merino wool is soft and breathable, while cashmere is light, soft and has a wonderfully exclusive feel. A favorite material of ours is yak wool, the warmest type of wool that comes from yak oxen that graze freely in Tibet, among other places.
What material is used in K&US women's wool coats and why?
Women's wool coats from K&US Stockholm are made from high-quality wool, a natural material known for its warming and breathable properties. Wool is durable, insulates well against the cold and gives a soft, comfortable feel, which is ideal for Swedish autumn and winter days. The long wool coats also warm well down over the legs.
