K&US stores the personal data that the Customer provides to K&US in connection with the Customer placing orders for goods and services, including, among other things, name, address, and other contact information as well as information about credit cards and other means of payment.
K&US uses the personal data when registering the Customer as a customer, receiving orders, delivery, invoicing and information, and for marketing to the extent that the Customer has not declined marketing.
Personal data may be disclosed for processing on behalf of K&US through a so-called personal data processor. In such a case, a written agreement will be drawn up to regulate the personal data processor's handling of the personal data and the personal data processor will not have the right to use the personal data for purposes other than to perform the tasks the personal data processor has undertaken to K&US.
GDPR. Collecting Customer´s personal data:
K&US uses the Customer's personal data to administer orders for goods or services and to be able to fulfill the obligations and exercise the rights that follow from an order. The data is also used otherwise for marketing K&US and its goods and services.
Storage period
K&US stores personal data as long as the Customer is a customer of K&US and - provided that the Customer does not request that the personal data be deleted earlier - for a period of three (3) years after the Customer's last purchase.
To the extent that K&US is required by law or government regulation to store data for a longer period than stated above, the data is stored accordingly.
Legal basis for the processing of personal data
K&US processes provided personal data on the legal basis that it is necessary to fulfill the parties' agreement. K&US is further entitled to process the Customer's address and other contact information for marketing purposes based on a balancing of interests, where K&US, as long as the Customer has not objected to such processing, believes that its interest in marketing its products and services outweighs the Customer's privacy interest.
Customer access to personal data and requests for restriction of processing, correction, etc.
The Customer has the right to contact K&US to obtain information about which personal data about the Customer is processed by K&US, which is done by contacting K&US via the address, email or telephone number specified above. The Customer also has the right to request porting of personal data that the Customer has provided and that K&US processes with the Customer's consent or to fulfill the agreement with the Customer.
However, the Customer is aware that a request for deletion of data or restriction of the processing of personal data may mean that the Customer's ability to use K&US services may be limited or completely eliminated.
Connection to K&US newsletter
When the Customer chooses to enter their email address to receive the K&US newsletter, the Customer simultaneously gives their consent for K&US to use the email address to send newsletters to the Customer.
K&US stores the Customer's personal data as long as the Customer wishes to receive the K&US newsletter. The Customer can unsubscribe from the K&US newsletter at any time. This is done via a link on each newsletter.
K&US may store the Customer's data to the extent that K&US is required by law or government regulation to store data for a longer period than stated above. In such cases, the data will be stored accordingly.
The legal basis for K&US's processing of personal data in connection with newsletter management is based on the consent given when the customer accepts the sending of the K&US newsletter. Giving consent is voluntary and the Customer has the right to withdraw his consent. Withdrawal of consent is done by contacting K&US via the address, e-mail or telephone number specified below, or via a link in each newsletter. A withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of the processing that took place before the consent was withdrawn. However, a withdrawal may mean that your ability to use K&US services may be limited.
K&US uses MailChimp to send newsletters, the personal data the Customer provides is therefore also handled by MailChimp in the form of a personal data processor. Mailchimp is not entitled to use the personal data for purposes other than to perform the tasks they have undertaken to K&US according to the agreement between K&US and MailChimp.
